Immersive Story Platform

Eyekiller partnered with The Story Museum to redevelop 1001 Stories as a standalone online resource. Built on Craft CMS and powered by Algolia search, the new platform makes a rich collection of stories, objects and learning materials discoverable for children, families and educators while seamlessly connecting the digital experience with visits to the physical museum.

Story-Led Experience

We designed a warm, story-first interface that feels like exploring shelves in a magical library. Clear pathways for children, parents and educators guide users into curated story collections, classroom resources and museum-linked content. Flexible page modules blend text, illustration, audio and film to keep audiences engaged, curious and eager to discover their next story.

Behind the scenes, Craft CMS provides a structured content model for stories, resources and collection objects, while a custom third-party Catalogit API integration connects to the Collections Management Database. Algolia delivers fast, AI-powered search with filters by theme, age and format. Technical SEO, Core Web Vitals optimisation and Spektrix and Dotdigital integrations support visibility, performance and ongoing engagement.
